…is as soft as she is tough.

Taylor's “tough girl” persona earned her the nickname "Chick Nolte" while playing the ballsy FBI agent, Karen Maguire in The Beast. This fun-spirited reputation also paved the way for more success in film, tv and the gaming world; notably, the ball-busting muse Pam York in Nashville, the wild west gang leader in Red Dead Redemption II, the defiant Lt. Elizabeth Grant in #Wargames - an interactive series based on the 1983 film, the indigent hooker, Heather Stinson in the feature Soul to Keep and the alcoholically deluged Detective Becky Rawlings in her own film Babs, which she wrote, produced & co-directed. Brette is well remembered for her role as “Crazy Debbie” on Rescue Me.

Brette’s a singer/songwriter and her unique vocals can be heard on her country album Breaking News that she wrote and produced. As an accomplished equestrian, she’s a tireless advocate for horse safety and has maintained a lifelong love of riding. Brette had the honor of exercising thoroughbreds at Churchill Downs racetrack in Louisville.

She continues to produce & collaborate as a writer, producer, director and actor through projects highlighting her essence as a streetwise, straight-shooting woman. And with an extensive background in boxing and martial arts, her niche and excellence lie in playing them.

She is currently producing the feature film "Border," a project she co-wrote, scheduled to start filming in 2025.

“I’m drawn to characters with a wild child core - women who defy the norm. What I love the most about those women is their humanness, that they’re beautifully untethered. Morph: If badass Sarah Connor, and gunslinger, Sarah Bowman had a baby, she’d now be leading her rebel soldiers through the thick…come hell or high water” ~ Brette
